The call centre of the Turkish Ministry of Health, working 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, has started giving consultation in English, German, Arabic and Russian languages.
Dursun Aydin, the head of the Health Tourism Department of Turkish Ministry of Health, stated that English, German, Arabic and Russian speakers and translators worked in the call centre.
He also added, "with the start of the summer season, the number of foreign tourists visiting Turkey is increasing. If they have any health problems, we try to help them through the phone line."
Through the teleconference system, foreign tourists will be informed, if they dialed 112 Emergency or 184 SABIM lines, said Aydin and added, "approximately, we receive 15 calls a day and, whatever the time is, foreigners receive help."Last Mod: 12 Temmuz 2012, 15:16
