Turkish men's volleyball team won the silver medal in the Volleyball European League-Men after a 3-2 defeat in the hands of their Dutch rivals in a final game Sunday in the Turkish capital, Ankara.

The Turkish team lost the first two sets 25-16 and 25-15, but kept their hopes alive with a come back in the third and fourth sets 22-25, 23,25.

The tie-break saw the Dutch triumphant 26-24 to reach to the top title.

This was the first time the Turkish men's team has ever reached to the final game in the European event.

Turkey's Serhat Coskun was "the most scorer player" and the Turkish team's Emre Batur was named "the most valuable player" of the tournament.
