World Bulletin / News Desk

Turkish warplanes and artillery struck targets held by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK)-affiliated People's Protection Units (YPG) in north Syria on Sunday.

The strike left at least 25 terrorists killed and dozens others wounded, Turkish military said.
Previously, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Sunday Turkish warplanes had struck areas north of Manbij, a city south of Jarablus captured by Syrian Democratic Forces this month in a U.S.-backed operation.

The move came after a Turkish soldier was killed and three were injured Saturday in a PYD rocket attack in northern Syria.
