Turkish weight-lifter won three gold medals after breaking a European record in clean and jerk in the European Weight-Lifting Championships in Minsk, Belarus.

Aylin Tasdelen competing in women's 53 kg category, won two gold medals after lifting 88 kg in snatch and 120 kg in the clean and jerk.

She got the third gold medal after reaching 208 kg in the total.

Another Turkish weight-lifter, Sibel Ozkan, was ranked fifth in snatch and fourth in clean and jerk in the the same category.

Nearly 200 weight-lifters from 40 countries are competing in the championships.
