Two more people have died of the H7N9 bird flu virus in China, bringing the annual death toll to 25, a report said on Tuesday.
Chinese state news agency Xinhua reported that the two people died on Monday - one in the south-eastern province of Hunan and the other in the central province of Guangdong - after coming into contact with live poultry.
A total of 113 cases have been reported across the country this year, the death toll has reached 25.
Authorities said that most of the cases reported are from eastern and southeastern provinces of the country.
Concerns have been raised about the transmission of the disease between humans, but experts say transmission of the disease between humans remains unlikely.Last Mod: 04 Şubat 2014, 12:09
