Police in China have seized 2.4 tonnes of methamphetamine in a raid on a Shanghai drug lab - the largest ever seizure of the drug in the region.
Official news agency Xinhua reported Thursday that the raid had led to the arrest of 28 suspects and the seizure of a large amount of raw materials and equipment.
Police have said that 1.5 million Yuan ($240,000) and four vehicles were also seized.
Xinhua reported that the arrests came after police started to track a man named in August who was known to sell the drug - also known as crystal meth - in the area.
