Scientists from the Stockholm Resilience Center have pointed out that if some of the critical carbon deposits on Earth are distributed and if stored carbon here spreads into the atmosphere, the "domino" effect to be created can draw the land into an irreversible imbalance climate.
Scientists point out that forests, oceans and soils absorb 4.5 billion carbon and if this spread into the atmosphere would turn the earth into a "greenhouse".
In such a world, it is said that the average temperatures can increase by 4-5 degrees and the sea level can increase by 10 to 60 meters.
