The number of those infected with “Coronavirus” has increased to 127 in Saudi Arabia, officials said.

The Saudi Health Ministry announced in a statement on its website that they faced two new cases in the west and center of the country.

Two patients, aged 43 and 72, who visited hospitals in Riyadh and Jeddah, respectively, with complaints of respiratory insufficiency were diagnosed with the virus.

Coronavirus, firstly recognised in September 2012 as a different kind of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), is threatening particularly Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. It ruins the lungs and kidneys and collapses the immune system.

Lacking information about the source of the virus, no preventive vaccination or antibiotic cure is available.

So far, 62 people have died because of the virus, 53 of whom are from Saudi Arabia.
