Health officials in Guinea have said that tests on a virus suspected of being Ebola have proved negative.
After conducting tests, a World Health Organization (WHO) spokesman Collins Boakye-Agyemang told the BBC that the virus was not Ebola, contradicting a UN statement on Sunday.
So far, 59 people have died in the country from the unknown virus.
Ebola, which is spread through close contact, is known to kill 25% to 90% of its victims and has no known cure or vaccine.
