Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani and the US Vice President Joe Biden discussed in phone call on Wednesday the latest developments in Iraq that is hit by a political crisis.

The two sides have stressed on forming new Iraqi government as soon as possible and the US official reiterated Washington’s support to Iraq in fighting against the militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS).

Biden, in the phone call, has extended his condolence to the families of those civilians and soldiers.
