The Deputy Director of the Federal Investigation and Intelligence of Mosul Fares al-Rashidi was killed by an attack in the Nineveh province on Tuesday.
Al-Rashidi was killed by a roadside bomb explosion south of Mosul after returning from a meeting.
There were no official statements by Iraqi authorities.
