Six Australian navy officers fired for anti-Muslim comments

World Bulletin / News Desk

Six Australian navy officers have been released from their jobs after it was found that they had posted anti-Muslim comments on Facebook.

Navy chief Vice Admiral Ray Griggs said on Tuesday that “a number of personnel have … been found to have made inappropriate comment on social media or to have an affiliation with different social media groups that are not consistent with our values”.

“Several sailors have had their employment terminated or have been issued with notices of cause for termination,” he said, adding “Others have received a range of disciplinary punishments or other administrative sanctions.”

Despite having links to the far-right Australian Defence League, none are believed to be members of the organization. Eyebrows were raised when a soldier was seen making insulting remarks about immigrants under a photo post by an ADL member.

Who's values are you talking about Griggs? The average Australian is fed up with these invaders and at the moment minority group getting sympathy. Look around you and at the problems these people cause in Europe. We don't need this in Australia and it shouldn't matter whether you are in defence or civilian lifestyle you shoulod be able to express an opinion. Too many politicians and so called leaders are pandering to this scum. wake up befgore it's too late.
