The preparations for Eid al-Fitr in the tent-container city sheltering around 15,000 Syrians in the Nizip district of the far southern Turkish city of Gaziantep have been completed on the eve of Eid al-Fitr and the last day of the holy month of Ramadan.

Escaping the violence in their homeland and settling in the tent-container city in Nizip as they take refuge in Turkey, Syrian families felt the rejoicing of Eid al-Fitr following the holy month of Ramadan, but bittersweetly.

On the last day of Ramadan, Syrians, fasting for a month, carried out a cleaning for the Eid al-Fitr in the areas where they lead their lives with their children.

They are supplied with all their needs by Turkish officials, also buying some of them from the markets in the tent-container city.

Those who wish to look sharp in Eid al-Fitr had a shave and haircut at the hairdresser of the social facilities in the tent-container city.
