Far-right extremists in the UK have forced a popular theme park to close this coming weekend after they threatened the park for allowing a private group to hold a party there for Muslim children.

Legoland Winsor will close its doors after the police advised them to cancel the event due to threats made by members of the English Defence League and other groups.

The Muslim Research and Development Foundation was due to hold a private event at the park, but have now been refunded after the park expressed concern for the safety of its staff.

“Sadly, a private event due to take place on Sunday has had to be cancelled due to threats from right-wing groups made against the resort,” said Legoland in a statement. “The whole resort, including the hotel, will be closed for the weekend.

“We wholeheartedly understand families' disappointment that they will be unable to attend and appreciate that due to the dynamic nature of this situation we haven't been able to give them more notification,” the statement added.

The event has been planned for Sunday.

British society must learn to respect and tolerate those who are different. God has created diverse human beings to live in this tiny global village of one family. Creation by its very nature is diverse with different species, different communities, different cultures and languages. These differences represent the beauty and wonder but diversity is sometimes not fully appreciated, resulting in all sorts of clashes. The British society and Establishment must learn to respect and accommodate.
