A group of protesters attacked a Turkish journalist and cameraman during a demonstration against Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi in Cairo on Wednesday.
Turkish state channel TRT Cairo correspondent Mehmet Akif Ersoy and cameraman Adil Ahmet were attacked by a mob.
Another group of protesters who organized the Tahrir Square rally helped the Turkish men escape the assailants.
Ersoy and Ahmet received medical treatment in a field hospital set up in Tahrir Square to treat possible injuries during clashes between police and protesters.
