Terrorism claimed 43,000 lives to terrorism in the past 30 years. This number is equal to population of three small countries in Europe.
7,000 people from security forces were martyred since 1984. Number of civilian killed is 5,669. Loss of PKK is 30,000. Terrorism not only hit lives but also the economy.
400 billion USD were wasted. A total of 100 straits could be built and eastern and southeastern Turkey could be re-constructed. The region could be a center of attraction.
500 MILLION USD FROM ISLAM COUNTRIES TO SOMALIA
Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) convened in Istanbul and listened to the screams of Somalia. Representatives from 40 countries convened under the leadership of Turkey. 500 million USD assistance collected for Somalia striving against famine. Turkey made the biggest donation which is 200 million USD.
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan who will travel to Somalia on Friday would himself deliver the assistance.
"OUR PATIENCE RUN OUT"
Terrorists exploded mines as a military convoy was passing in Cukurca town of the southeastern province of Hakkari. Eleven troops including a major were killed. A village guard lost his life in another blast in the region. President Abdullah Gul said that the terrorist organization which staged acts of terror in the holy month of Ramadan aimed at destroying people's loyalty to their state. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, "our patience has finally run out. Words ended, now it is time for action."
HELP SOMALIA INSTEAD OF BOASTING WITH SKYSCRAPERS
The Executive Committee of the Organization of the Islamic cooperation (OIC) has convened in Istanbul at an extraordinary session on Somalia. Making opening remarks of the meeting, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on all countries to help Somalia instead of boasting with their skyscrapers and luxury automobiles.
YOU ARE THE MURDERER
While Turkey was grieving for 11 troops who were killed in an ambush in the southeastern province of Hakkari, it was the Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) which glorified terrorism on every occasion. BDP, which tried anything to sabotage Turkey's brotherhood project and which declared a suicide bomber as 'martyr', became the accomplice of the massacres. BDP condemned the heinous attack with a meager statement. Between the lines of the statement, BDP used threatening expressions, "terrible days are awaiting Turkey."
AIR OPERATION ON HEART OF TERROR
The government has given an instant response to the PKK terrorist organization which claimed lives of eleven young Turkish troops in an ambush in the southeastern province of Hakkari. F-16 war planes took off from the southeastern province of Diyarbakir and shelled terror camps in northern Iraq.
PATIENT COMES TO END
PKK terrorists have staged another heinous ambush on security forces in Cukurca town of the southeastern province of Hakkari. Nine troops including a major and a village guard were killed. The attack caused an outrage in Turkey which lost 43 of its sons in the last 1.5 months and 6,821 in the last 27 years.
F-16s SHELL QANDIL
After Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, "our patience has finally run out. Words ended, now it is time for action,", 15 Turkish F-16s hit PKK camps in Qandil Mountain. The air operation began at around 8:30 p.m. Turkey launched its last air operation on Qandil in May 2010.
GREAT SORROW: 10 KILLED
Nine of the soldiers who were in three armoured vehicles died when four anti-tank mines, planted on Hakkari-Cukurca highway, were detonated at the same time.
A village guard died when a vehicle carrying the village guards hit a landmine while rushing to the region where many other soldiers were injured.
It was stated that martyred major Yavuz Basayar was newly appointed to Cukurca. 46 security forces died since July 1.
A FIRST IN MGK
President Abdullah Gul will meet Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek and main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu on Friday after the MGK meeting on Thursday.
For the first time Parliament Speaker and the main opposition leader will be informed about the matters discussed in MGK.
WE MAY SOLVE TOGETHER
Iranian Ambassador in Ankara Bahman Husseinpur said a foreign intervention in Syria would stir the region. Iranian Ambassador said Turkey should act together with Iran and talk to Syria. He claimed that the United States was trying to put the countries of the region into fire.
ROAD LEADING TO DEATH
Turkey moves forward a dead end in Kurdish problem. PKK attacked military convoy in Cukurca on Wednesday morning. 10 soldiers, one of them a major, were martyred. Response of the state was not delayed: We will retort this.
PKK CAMPS HIT FROM AIR
There was an intensive air activity in southeastern province of Diyarbakir after the attack. F-16 planes, taking off from the 8th Main Jet Base in southeastern province of Diyarbakir, passed to skies of north of Iraq and shelled Qandil, Hinere, Zap, Kharkurk and Metina camps.
BOTH THE WORDS AND PATIENCE ENDED
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan strongly reacted to the attack in Cukurca. Erdogan said, "as we said earlier, we are at a point where the words ended. Our patience regarding Ramadan has ended."

QUICK RESPONSE TO QANDIL
Fourteen war planes with night vision systems which took off from the base in the southeastern province of Diyarbakir hit PKK camps in northern Iraq. The government gave directives to the Command of Air Forces at around 3:00 p.m. to launch an air operation after the ambush in Hakkari. The F-16 planes took off from the base at 8:05 p.m. Some 45 minutes after, warplanes shelled PKK camps in Qandil Mountain. Air operation ended at around 11:00 p.m.
AMBUSH IN VALLEY
PKK attacked two military convoys that were passing from a narrow road in Cukurca town. A squadron leader, nine soldiers and a village guard were killed. The horror night started when a landmine in front of the military convoy exploded.
Rocket launcher hit another vehicle killing three soldiers. A five-tone vehicle who rushed for help was detonated with a 20 kg bomb.
SORTIE TO QANDIL
Warplanes for the first time simultaneously shelled most of the camps in Qandil and Zap after PKK martyred nine soldiers including a squadron leader and a village guard.
15 warplanes, taking off from the 8th Main Jet Base in southeastern province of Diyarbakir, for the first time bombed most of the PKK camps simultaneously under the light of the images of Herons. Xinere and Balayan region, where Murat Karayilan stayed, were under intensive shelling.
Following the statement of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan that, "you'll see implementations, not words" Turkish Armed Forces launched a cross-border air operation. Planes taking off from Diyarbakir shelled PKK targets in Qandil, Zap, Khakurk and Metina.
12 warplanes attended the operation which started at the night of the heinous ambush in which 10 soldiers were killed in Hakkari.
Turkish jets shelled shelters of terrorists in north of Iraq with laser guided bombs.
PATIENCE FOR RAMADAN ENDED
Speaking after the meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation's (OIC) Executive Committee, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke strongly after the heinous attack in Hakkari.
"Unfortunately, terrorism is a merciless incident that does not have religion. A phenomenon. We are out of our patience now. You will see implementations, not words from now on. National Unity and Fraternity project will continue however we will not give up those places to the terrorist organization. Those who fail to keep an arm's length with those people will pay the cost of it.
