The following news stories are being covered by Turkish daily newspapers on Wednesday:

The signing of the internet bill, but with amendments on two key points, by President Abdullah Gul's on Tuesday; the TL500 million to be invested in the enlargement of Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport according to the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI) in Turkey; and the violent clashes which erupted in Ukraine.

The Daily Hurriyet reported that Turkey’s President signed the controversial internet bill, but asked for amendments in two points. Daily Star said that the government offered a new proposal on the internet bill to parliament.

Daily Turkiye reported that Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport will not close but will be enlarged. Haberturk quoted DHMI head, Orhan Birdal saying that TL 500 million will be invested in the enlargement of the airport.

Yeni Safak Daily reported that “Kiev is burning, 9 dead”, while Vatan said “A country is burning” referring to Ukraine, adding that 14 people are dead and tens injured.
