Two civilians were killed and three army personnel were injured on Friday in attacks in Sinai, medical sources said.
The two died in attacks on security checkpoints in Sheikh Zuweid in North Sinai, a medical source told the Anadolu Agency.
Separately, two army personnel – an officer and two soldiers – were wounded when gunmen fired an RPG at an army vehicle in al-Kawthar area at the time of iftar (fast-breaking).
Eyewitnesses said the vehicle was totally destroyed in the attack.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks.
On Thursday, two soldiers were killed and four injured when gunmen stormed a border guard headquarters in the northern Sinai Peninsula.
