The Action Group for Palestinian Refugees in Syria has claimed that four members of a Palestinian refugee family in Syria were killed on Friday night after Palestinian refugee camps were shelled by Bashar al-Assad's regime army. Many Palestinian refugees were also wounded in the same incident.
"They were targeted by a rocket whilst they were leaving Al-Sabeenah Refugee Camp," the group said. Many refugee camps around Damascus were also raided at night by the Syrian army, with many being arrested. Some were later released after ransoms were paid.
Some Palestinian refugee camps have been besieged by regime forces for more than six months, with human rights groups worrying that they may be running out of food.Last Mod: 02 Kasım 2013, 14:27
