Co-chair of Turkey-Bahrain Business Council and a deputy Khalid al-Muayed said that foreign powers wanted to cause unrest in Bahrain and that an Arab Spring in Bahrain was out of question.
Speaking to Turkish press, Muayed stressed that "foreign powers tried a lot to cause unrest in Bahrain but could not reach their goals. An Arab Spring identical to those in various Arab countries was not possible in Bahrain."
Touching on Turkey-Bahrain relations, Muayed underlined that their relations with Turkey gained momentum following Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Bahrain.
