An anti-coup protester was killed by Egyptian security forces on Friday in the coastal city of Alexandria, an anti-coup alliance said.
Abdel-Hakim al-Zamzami, 50, was killed when security forces attacked protesters taking part in an anti-coup rally in the city's eastern Al-Awayed district, the National Alliance for the Defense of Legitimacy said in a statement.
Six people were seriously injured during the protest, according to the statement.
Egyptian authorities did not comment on the reports.
Anti-coup demonstrators staged fresh Friday rallies as part of weeklong demonstrations called for by the National Alliance to decry Morsi's ouster by the military last summer.
Egypt has been dogged by instability since the army unseated Morsi, the country's first freely elected leader, last July following massive protests against his presidency.
Ever since, anti-coup protesters have staged almost daily rallies.Last Mod: 11 Nisan 2014, 17:22
