An Arab ministerial delegation will meet US Secretary of State John Kerry in Paris on Sunday, Arab League Secretary-General Nabil al-Arabi said Monday.

Al-Arabi told reporters that Kerry has asked to meet with the Arab delegation, formed by the last Arab summit in Doha to follow up the US-sponsored Palestinian-Israeli negotiations.

Led by Qatar, the delegation also includes Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the Palestinian Authority and the Arab League chief.

"The Palestinian side wants to end the conflict," al-Arabi said, adding that he has received a message from Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas about the Palestinian constants for any settlement with Israel.

"But for that to happen, Israel will have to withdraw from the occupied territories."

On Thursday, Kerry said the Israelis and Palestinians would have to make "tough choices" in the coming weeks if they wanted to achieve peace.

"My plan is to work with both sides to narrow differences on a framework that will set guidelines for negotiations," Kerry told a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Palestinians and the Israelis resumed their peace talks last July, after a three-year hiatus, under American sponsorship.

The results of the negations, which focus on final settlement issues, borders, Israeli settlements, Jerusalem and the return of Palestinian refugees, have not been announced yet.
