The Arab League condemned the entering of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Jewish settlers on Thursday.

The Arab League said in a written statement that they made Israel responsible for the "hostile, dangerous actions which are against the international law."

The statement evaluated that such actions blazed the religious clashes in the Middle East.

Assistant Secretary General for the affairs of the Occupied Palestinian and Arab Territories at the Arab League, Mohammed Sabih said at a press conference, "The Arab League warned already the raid of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The radical Jews damaged the interreligious tolerance with their actions. They have the aim to get control over the Al-Aqsa Mosque and divided it, as they did it with the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron in 1994."

Sabih added that Jerusalem needs a clear position of the Arab and Muslim countries.
