Syrian regime helicopters dropped four chemical barrel bombs on Idlib province Thursday night, activists told The Anadolu Agency.
Twenty people suffocated and were taken to field hospitals for treatment.
Mohamed Fadel, a local activist from Sermin village, said that Sermin Hospital received 17 people from Idlib. The injured included a mother and her children.
Meanwhile, activists said three people were injured in two chlorine barrel bomb attacks on Korin village.
The Syrian opposition has repeatedly accused the Assad regime of using chemical and toxic weapons against civilians in Idlib, leaving scores of people dead and injured.
