Two police officers in Bahrain were sentenced 10 years in prison after being convicted of torturing a protester to death.
The chief prosecutor Newaf Abdullah Hamza informed that the First High Criminal Court convicted two police officers for the cause of the death of Isa Ibrahim Sakr, the official news agency of Bahrain (BNA) reported on Tuesday.
Three other police officers were acquitted in the case.
On the other hand, six people who were alleged to insult King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on social networking sites are being investigated by chief prosecution's office.
