A barrel bomb attack by Syrian government forces killed 16 people in the opposition-held Zebadiye district of Aleppo.
Helicopters of regime forces bombarded the district's residential areas, destroying a number of houses while AA cameras were shooting.
Speaking to AA's reporter, resident Mansour Abu Loutfi said government forces shelled the area at 10:00 am. He added that no opposition fighters were in the area at that time.
"War planes dropped fliers telling us to leave the region or it will be burned down" Abu Loutfi said. "If they are going to wipe everyone out, why are they talking with the opposition in Geneva?"
