General Abdul-Fattah al-Sisi, interim president Adly Mansour and interim prime minister Hazem al-Beblawi are among 23 officials accused of crimes against humanity during the July 3 coup and events that followed.

An international legal team of prosecutors have been commissioned by ousted president Mohamed Morsi’s Freedom and Justice Party to investigate Egypt’s July 3 military coup.

The team released a list of individuals who will be prosecuted to Arabi21 news, which includes many high ranking officials like General Abdul-Fattah al-Sisi, interim president Adly Mansour and interim prime minister Hazem al-Beblawi.

By universal juristiction laws, the listed individuals who are being investigated for crimes against humanity during the coup, would not be able to travel outside of Egypt. All countries in the universal juristiction agreement would have to prosecute the accused regardless of where the crimes were committed.

The team is led by top British Attorney General Lord Kenneth Macdonald. The list of those set to be prosecuted reads as follows:

Ziad Baha Al-Din, Deputy Interim PM and Minister of International Cooperation
Nabil Fahmi, Foreign Minister
Hosam Isa, DeputyIinterim PM, Minister of Education
Ahmed Jalal, Finance Minister
Adel Abdul-Hamid, Justice Minister
Dorriya Sharaf Al-Din, Information Minister
General Mohamed Al-Tihami, chief of General Intelligence Services
General Usama Al-Jondi, chief of Marine Forces
General Younis Al-Masri, chief of Air Forces
Abdul Min'em Altras, chief of Air Defence
Mohsen Al-Shathli, chief of Operation Committee of the Armed Forces
General Tawheed Tawfiq, chief of Central Military Compound
General Sayed Shafiq, Deputy Interior Minister for General Security
Hassan Al-Qadi, Deputy Interior Minister for Al-Jiza Security Department, resigned on August 26, 2013
General Ashraf Abdullah, Deputy Interior Minister for Central Security
General Usama Al-Sagheer, Deputy Interior Minister for Cairo Security Department
General Ahmed Helmi, Deputy Interior Minister for General Security
General Khalid Tharwat, chief of Nation Security Services

Don't know about the rest, but the incumbent Attorney General of the UK is Dominic Grieve (https://www.gov.uk/government/people/dominic-grieve)Ken MacDonald has never held the post. The highest legal post he held was Director of Public Prosecution.
