Egyptian police fired teargas to disperse the fans of local and African giants Al-Ahly who were trying to storm Cairo's Arab Contractors Stadium, which will host later Sunday the second-leg of the African Champions League final.
Eyewitnesses said that security forces had to fire teargas to prevent ticketless fans from storming the stadium.
No injuries were reported, as calm returned to the area amid heavy security presence.
Title-holders Ahly will host South Africa’s Orlando Pirates for the second-leg game. The first game ended in a 1-1 draw in Johannesburg.Last Mod: 10 Kasım 2013, 16:27
