Over 100 people were wounded while 40 others died in Thursday's explosions in the Homs province of Syria.

The explosion took place in an ammunition-store of the regime army, said the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR).

Officials said the conditions of those who were wounded were critical, adding that the number of deaths could increase as well.
