At least six people died and seven others were injured when Assad supporters and opponents clashed in Lebanon's northern city of Tripoli on Friday.
Mortars, grenades and machine guns were used during heavy clashes, local sources said.
Clashes have been continuing since the beginning of the week in the Jabal Mohsin neighborhood of Tripoli wher Assad supporters live and in Bab-al-Tibbaneh neighborhood where Assad dissidents reside.
