Gunmen opened fire in the vicinity of a police station in the North Sinai city of Arish early Saturday.
Police forces fired warning shots into the air after gunshots were heard near the police station, a security source told Anadolu Agency.
As of the filing of this report, there had been no official Egyptian comment.
