Houthis on Saturday stormed into the headquarters of Al-Islah Party, the political arm of Yemen's Muslim Brotherhood, in Kraytar, a district of the southern province of Aden, a party official has said.
"Houthi and allied militants stormed into the party headquarters today," Khaled Heidan, an Al-Islah media spokesman in Aden, told Anadolu Agency.
He added that the Houthi gunmen had looted the contents of the party headquarters, noting that party officials were not inside the premises at the time.
Fractious Yemen has remained in turmoil since last September, when the Houthis overran capital Sanaa, from which they have sought to extend their influence to other parts of the country.Last Mod: 17 Mayıs 2015, 12:01
