Turkish Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek stated on Wednesday that Turkey highlighted the unconcern of international community on the Syrian issue and added that they eye the issues as if they watch a match.

During a formal visit to Slovenia, Cicek stated on the recent attacks in Reyhanli town of Turkey and said that the issue resonated not only to Reyhanli but also to the world.

"Here, we highlighted the unconcern of international community on the Syrian issue and as if they watch a match, again. Unfortunately, it's the reality. There are countries which try to continue to their imperial policies through the blood that's running there off. Blood of people and their lives create a profit base for some countries, seeking it. We also tried to express it," he said. "Whenever these issues are amid on the agenda of press, relevant offices show precision. They consider whether there is a lack, a disconnection of communication or a fault, made by them".

Cicek also stated that Slovenians admire Turkey by saying, "Although there is a crisis both in the region and the world, Turkey's continuity of growing within reason, its persistence on investments, having big investments on the agenda and the increasing exportation of Turkey each month within reason attract the attention of Slovenians. They asked me what the secret of it is. They have great expectations from Turkey and want to increase their economic and commercial cooperation. The economic crisis have affected their industry and trade, therefore they need any economic contribution. They openly express it and want to search for more opportunities to cooperate with.”
