World Bulletin / News Desk

Syrian rebel group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) has pulled out of the Jarablus neighborhood of Aleppo as they continue their withdrawal from the northern Syria province.

Hundreds of fighters have been killed this week, as clashes broke out between opposition groups to the Bashar al-Assad regime. The ISIL, an Al-Qaeda affiliate, has been on the retreat since the Islamic Front launched a campaign against them after they were accused of imprisoning, torturing and killing members of other rebel groups.

Up to 10,000 people have fled the clashes, including a high number of Syrian Turkmen, who have sought refuge in seven camps set up by charities in the south-eastern Turkish city of Gaziantep.
