Israeli forces detained 23 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem over their suspected involvement in clashes with Israeli forces.
In a statement, the Israeli army said its forces detained 15 Palestinians in the West Bank overnight, including nine local Hamas leaders.
Most of the detentions took place in Jenin, Ramallah and Hebron, it added.
Meanwhile, the Israeli police said it detained eight Palestinians in Jerusalem for allegedly throwing stones at Israeli police in the holy city.
According to the Israeli radio, dozens of masked men hurled stones and petrol bombs at a Jewish religious center in Beit Orot settlement in eastern Jerusalem, leaving one Israeli wounded.
Israeli forces routinely conduct detention campaigns against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank on claims that they are "wanted" by Israeli authorities.
Over 7,000 Palestinians are currently languishing in prisons throughout Israel, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Prisoners' Affairs.
