Israeli Interior Minister Gidon Sa'ar has submitted a resignation letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Channel 1 reported Sunday.
According to local media reports, Sa'ar might join former welfare and social services minister Moshe Kahlon who is in the middle of the process of estabiling a new party. The speculation came two months after Sa'ar announced that he intends to resign and temporarily retire from politics to focus on his family.
It is still unclear who will replace Sa'ar as the interior minister.
