Three former Kuwaiti deputies on Tuesday were sentenced to three years in prison for insulting the Kuwaiti Amir Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jabir al-Sabah.

Kuwaiti legal sources said that former deputies Felah es-Sevvag, Khaled et-Tahus and Bedr ed-Dahum were each sentenced to three years in prison for insulting the Kuwaiti Amir al-Sabah.

On the other hand, Kuwaiti poet Orens er-Rashidi was sentenced to ten years in prison for insulting the Kuwaiti Amir al-Sabah according to news reports in the Kuwaiti media.
