Violations took place during Wednesday's parliamentary elections in Jordan.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Arab Elections Network indicated that the Jordanian elections were completed with no problems but that they detected certain violations in the elections.
Chair of the Jordan Mission of the Arab Elections Network, Lawyer Huker Citu stressed that some of the violations included the continuation of election propaganda during the voting process, open mass voting and several officials' efforts to influence voters.
"The young population was not too interested in today's elections compared to the elderly," Citu noted.
"Voter participation rates were very low in the Jordanian capital of Amman," Citu also said.
