An Egyptian court on Monday adjourned the trial of ousted President Mohamed Morsi until January 8.
The decision came after members of Morsi's defense team had requested extra time to meet with defendants and examine documentation associated with the case, said lawyer Mamdouh Ahmed.
Morsi and 14 other defendants face charges of inciting the murder of protesters outside Cairo's Ittihadiya presidential palace late last year.
