Usame es-Sahin, MP of the Islamic Constitutional Movement (HADAS) known as the political wing of Society of Muslim Brotherhood in Kuwait, stated that the alliance to be formed by the opposition would be an excellent political move.

Underlining that the alliance of opposition to be formed would be made up of parties, trade unions and student groups, es-Sahin said, "The alliance to be formed by the inclusion of opposition members from varying backgrounds is very important for us. We are at a point where we are in need of unity and cooperation the most."

Sahin said, "The opposition's lacking a road map and not having a single voice was one of the drawbacks in people trusting them" and stated the intermediaries were unsuccessful and created an obstacle between the government and the opposition.

Sahin also said that they as a party wanted article 6 of the constitution "Kuwait's regime is democracy" to be implemented and release of political prisoners.
