Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Sunday wrapped up a brief visit to Amman, during which he held talks with King Abdullah II of Jordan.
During their meeting, the two leaders stressed their keenness to bolster ties between the two nations in all fields in a way that serves the best interests of Arab causes, the Royal Hashemite Court said in a statement.
The statement added that the two leaders also underlined the importance of maintaining coordination on all bilateral and regional issues.
It said Sheikh Tamim and King Abdullah also discussed the situation in the Middle East region.
Sheikh Tamim arrived in Amman earlier on Sunday in his first visit to the Hashemite kingdom since he took office in June last year.
