Libya has launched a program aimed at attracting revolutionaries who fought for the change of power in the country to study and enter public service, Al Jazeera channel reported on Monday.
The program is designed by the Commission on Fighters for the Libyan revolution together with the UN.
Under the program the revolutionaries will be sent to study, including abroad. Those interested will be employed in the construction, security and military fields.
About 18,000 students will be sent to study and more than 500,000 people will be employed.
The program is aimed at ensuring employment of ex-combatants to prevent them from becoming involved in groups which could potentially threaten the country's security.
