Russian missiles launched from the Caspian Sea have caused disruptions to air traffic in the Middle East.

BBC Middle East correspondent Jim Muir has said that missiles launched from the Caspian Sea have passed over the airspace of the of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq  causing the Suleimaniye and Erbil airports to remain closed over the weekend.

According to Muir, "Kurdistan Regional Government, has complained to Moscow about the passing of the missiles, but did not receive a response," he says.

Missiles from Russia's launched from the Meditteranren have also affected Lebanon.

Flights departingfrom Beirut airport has forced many flights to change their route due to the missiles.
