The first day of the month of Shavval marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan and is celebrated as Eid al-Fitr across the Muslim World.

Eid al-Fitr prayers in the Iranian capital was lead by the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

According to statistics over 300-400 thousands of worshippers took part in Eid al-Fitr prayers in Tehran.

Eid al-Fitr prayers are a symbol of glory and greatness of the Islamic Ummah and the Iranian nation.
