Syrian dissidents have established a "National Council" to struggle against the Damascus regime.
A.A correspondent in Syria reported that the Council was created in Damascus on September 4.
Dissidents said in foundation statement of the Council that their only goal was "freedom" and the Council aimed at consolidating "revolution" in every corner of Syria from villages to cities.
The opposition said in a statement that they would maintain their rightful struggle till Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's regime was overthrown and an "equal and fair" order was ensured in the country.
Names of the members the Council were not made public due to security reasons.
