Syrian National Coalition for Opposition & Revolutionary Forces (SMDK) nominated ten candidates for the office of prime minister in the Syrian temporary government. There are technocrats, businessmen and economists among the ten candidates.
Member of the Syrian National Council (SNC), Fevzi Zakiroglu told AA, there were strong names for the temporary government however there was also a chance of not electing the premier during the Syrian opposition's meeting in Istanbul. He added, for the office of prime minister of the Syrian temporary government, the SNC decided on 4 candidates.
Names for the Syrian National Coalition for Opposition & Revolutionary Forces nominees for the office of prime minister of the Syrian temporary government include, Osama Kadi an international economic adviser, Ghassan Hitto a member of the Arab and Muslims legal support foundation, Assad Asheq Mustafa, a former Syrian Agriculture Minister and Walid al-Zoabi, an engineer and businessman.
Furthermore, member of the SMDK civil assembly, Marwan Hiccu told AA, "I think, Osama Kadi, Ghassan Hitto and Assad Asheq Mustafa have good chance at the elections."
Hiccu claimed that the names being talked about were having most of the supporters among SMDK members.
The coalition stated on Sunday that the premier would be elected during the meeting which Syrian opposition would hold in Istanbul on March 18 and 19.
