At least 59 people were killed on Saturday in attacks staged by the Syrian regime in several cities across Syria, activists said.
There were eight children and 5 women among the dead.
Assad forces killed 25 people in the suburbs of the capital Damascus, 15 in Aleppo, 19 in several other cities across the country in air strikes, according to the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), a London-based group which tracks civilian and dissident casualties.
A statement by Syria Local Coordination Committee claimed 29 Free Syrian Army (FSA) members were among the dead.
The statement also propounded that FSA controlled the Mulekha region in Damascus by an attack they organized at Temiko check point.
Warcraft belonging to Assad regime bombed Homs and surrounding sites where the opposition resided mostly, added the statement.
Besides, the statement claimed al Nusra front killed tens of Hezbollah militants in a bus attack. No further details were provided though.Last Mod: 20 Ekim 2013, 09:54
