Tunisia asked citizens on Friday to refrain from travelling to Yemen, urging Tunisians already in the fractious Arab state to display caution.
"In light of the dangerous security developments taking place in Libya, we call on Tunisian nationals to avoid travelling to Yemen at present," the Foreign Ministry said.
In a statement, it called on Tunisians living in Yemen to be cautious when moving from one place to another.
It said Tunisians living in Yemen should contact their embassy in capital Sanaa if they needed anything, noting that the embassy could help them and their families return to Tunisia.
Around 113 Tunisians currently live in Yemen, according to official data released in 2012.
Yemen has remained in the throes of turmoil since pro-democracy protests in 2011 forced autocratic President Ali Abdullah Saleh to step down one year later.
