The number of Syrian refugees are expected to reach 4.1 million by the end of 2014, the United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR) said on Monday.
"We know that 6.5 million displaced people shows that almost all of the Syrian population is displaced," the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres said on Monday in the UN Office at Geneva.
Guterres noted: "We have already above 2.6 million registered Syrian refugees and more than three million people have already left Syria."
"We have worked with a planning figure of 4.1 million refugees by the end of the year. But, of course it is always diffucult to predict," Guterres added.Last Mod: 08 Nisan 2014, 09:22
