Mevlut Cavusoglu, head of Turkish-US Interparliamentary Friendship Group and Deputy Secretary General of Justice & Development (AK) Party, said Turkish-US cooperation was very important for Syria's stability.
Emphasizing that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit was the most comprehensive among the visits by Turkish leaders, Cavusoglu said he was grateful to see the implementation of the US President Barack Obama's defining the bilateral ties as "model partnership" during the visit.
Cavusoglu underlined that the relations between the two states were beyond only the bilateral issues, and said that Turkey and the US agreed on several issues including balancing the trade volume, counter-terrorism and Syria.
He added, "Turkish-US cooperation is very important for Syria's stability."
